Being from ATL. Totally floored by the property. 2 Personal phone calls prior to my arrival with instructions. The location was perfect, centrally located, but yet away from the hustle. Renovated older property, yet charming feel about it, and space is used well. Very clean. And very affordable for what it is and where is located. Very pleased. Well done, guys.
I would go back here. The location is a really impressive tree lined street with single expensive family homes. I felt safe and it was really quiet and yet at the end of the street was Peachtree St which got me anywhere in 5 to 10 minutes ! The space is well appointed and real comfortable. The bed was a queen and lots of pillows and firm mattress. The shower is this original Art Deco tile with separate hot and cold faucets and it was great pressure and super hot water !!!!! I did have a problem checking in because I never got the code for the door. I got the confirmation acceptance letter but as I drove from Asheville to Atlanta no update. I sent a couple of emails and finally I called and it did eventually go thru so no real delay getting into my studio. The other glitch is WiFi and they came over within a couple of hours and reset it and it worked great. I could easily stay there for a long period of time.
The room was quite comfortable and cozy! I loved the modern feel, the artwork, and the location. It was very close to a gas station, the mall, Starbucks, and restaurants; yet, it was far enough away from the main highway for the noise level to be very quiet. I slept great each night there, and I rarely get that kind of sleep in a hotel. I loved that toiletries were provided and the kitchen area was stocked with pots, pans, utensils, real dishes, glasses, and mugs, as well as cleaning supplies, so it was really like a home away from home.
Clean, quiet with parking-We needed a place to stay for a couple days during our short stay in Atlanta. We discovered while searching through hotels that parking is a big issue and can add significantly to the cost of your stay. This place was close to the Aquarium, yet in a residential area and had off street, lighted parking. It was small but did have a kitchenette area and was very clean. It may be a little cramped if you were there for an extended stay. At first, there seemed to be a lot of rules but I'm guessing they are all due to issues in the past. All in all, I would recommend it. Be aware that to get into the unit we were in, you had to climb several outside stairs, something that could be an issue for other travelers. Ask, as there are two buildings. My only negative is that was no 'welcome packet' with recommendations for local restaurants, activities, etc. We've come to depend on them when traveling in new cities.
