Can't wait to rent Ilios again!!-We have been to St. John multiple times, but always stayed in Coral Bay in a friend's villa (which was pretty much destroyed by Irma) so this was the first time in Cruz Bay. The villa was perfect for our two couples and one single. The stone work, archecture and furnishings were lovely. We loved being able to congregate around the pool, which the layout of the patio was perfect for that. Snorkeling, dining, beach combing for sea glass, are all back after the storms. Thank you for such a perfect place to stay. We hope to rent again this spring!!!

Wonderful property, great customer service.-The property consists of three buildings clustered around a courtyard and pool overlooking the ocean. It feels very Greek — as the name suggests — with white washed stone walls and bright blue doors. The bedrooms are private, each come with their own baths (two are attached and fully enclosed but open from above), and are nice and serene. The common space is large enough for family gatherings and group meals. There are two stationary umbrellas on the patio by the pool for shade. Cruz Bay is close by, but not really within walking distance. Probably 5 minutes by car. There are beaches all around, also easily accessible by car. All told, a fantastic experience that I will recommend to family and friends.
Four pieces of advice. 1. Pack an extra bag with nonperishable good items and bring them with you. The grocery prices are high, even for someone who lives in DC. I recommend bringing canned goods, hard cheeses, cereal, etc. 2. You should make the trip to Pizzabar (Coral Bay), a laid back pizza place with a view of the Bay. 3. You should go to Longboard (Cruz Bay) for happy hour. The food and people watching were the best in the island. 4. You should avoid Scoops Ice Cream (Cruz Bay).
Have a great trip.

Perfect for large family or couples traveling together-3 bedroom suites with each having their own entrance and bathroom. Ideal for getting a good balance of alone time and personal space while traveling and staying with a group. The pool was perfect, big kitchen and dining table. Wish I could find more homes with this type of layout. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

“Greek isles meets USVI!â€-I can't say enough nice things about this villa! It's simply lovely. From having the pool to cool off, to great bedrooms, to a well-suppled kitchen it just made our trip perfect! The management company was attentive and the house had everything we needed. I loved cooking in the kitchen and serving both in the great room and on the deck outside. There were chairs and coolers for us to take to the beach too! Ilios is in my opinion the perfect villa for a relaxing vacate on this amazing island. I should note that we've been all over the Caribbean, Puerto Rico and Mexico and St. John is now our hands down favorite place. I think the ONLY suggestion I'd make would be that it would be great if the second bedroom (above the great room) had a larger bed. It was a little small for my husband and I. But seriously, that's the only comment- the room was very sweet. Major kudos to the owner for building a beautiful home! We just loved it.
