The home was a good location and the kids had a tons of space to play. Considering we are in the middle of a pandemic I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the home. It was in dire need of a deep cleaning. Some areas were clean, tub, toilets, towels, sheets etc., but others were down right filthy. The window sills had dead bugs and grime, there was moldy coffee in the coffee maker, you could see filth under the fridge, the bath mats were still damp, the spice rack was dusty and grimy, the ceiling fans in the upstairs were caked in dust, there were broken lawn chairs in the yard, dirty baseboards, the tea kettle also has a crack in it giving it a slow leak. The dust On the couch went poof when you sat on it. There was also no dish soap making it hard to clean any pots and pans you used, although the only large skillet in the house was so gross you could not use it. I did say something to the rental agency, but they told me I would have to take it up with Airbnb. I’m not sure when a rental agency would post a rental on Airbnb so this did make things confusing. I would not recommend this home or the agency associate it with it!

We had great time at Huckleberry Hideaway! The house is very comfortable and clean upon arrival. The only things it could use is a blender a cocktail shaker and a hot tub. Otherwise it’s perfect! Thanks for a great stay and we’ll definitely be back. One more thing...the office staff is great. Very polite and helpful!

Family and I enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of space for everyone, with beds to spare. Home was clean and had a good amount of games and movies for the kids. Whole family enjoyed relaxing at the end of a long day at the beach, roasting marshmallows in the fire pit.

The house was great! The location was great! We had everything we needed (except a coffee grinder, but my friend left one for you). I would recommend leaving wash machine instructions. Also, the floors under the beds were extremely dirty. I would also recommend washing the potholders. My friend left an expensive knife (the same friend who gifted the coffee grinder), and you kindly found it and offered to mail it to her. Thank you!! The motion sensor light over the upstairs bedroom closest to the road, was shining in our bedroom all night. There was no obvious way to turn it off. The dehumidifier in the bathroom had to be emptied 5 times. The first time we emptied it was right when we arrived. There were some loose hooks and the handle to the freezer door was loose. My boyfriend borrowed your electric screw driver and tightened all the loose things. The outdoor show was wonderful. We had plenty of hot water and towels. I enjoyed the artwork, dishes and books in the house. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. We all really liked the house, and I would stay there again.

We had an amazing experience with Kiwanda Coastal Properties. We arrived at their office after hours and they had our keys and welcome paperwork ready for us in their afterh ours box. When we inquired about a concern regarding the disposal and the kitchen sink they responded quickly and sent out maintenance later that morning. The house was very well organized and well-kept. We loved the location of having the beach access about a block from the vacation home and the forest right behind us. We'll come back again for sure.

There were some issues that occurred when we arrived. We found the dishwasher full of dishes and had to empty it and the dryer full of linens/towels. It appeared they had been left by who ever was supposed to clean the house? One of the bedrooms appeared to have not been cleaned? I noticed when I entered the room (as it was to be mine) that the bed was made, but under a pillow was a dog chew toy and there was a half empty bottle of water on the floor. This particular bedroom had a fair amount of debris on the floor. We were unsure if it was swept/vacuumed prior to our arrival? We also noted that there was not any kindling or paper to start a fire and minimal wood in the wood storage area. The house remained cold due to the fact that we did not have the supplies to heat it and we were not told in advance to our knowledge that we would need to bring all the supplies needed to heat the house? I am not sure how to address these issues. It is frustrating to have paid a cleaning fee of $110 only to arrive and find things not completed from the previous tenants stay. I feel the heating issue should be stated clearly for tenants prior to arrival also. The location is great, excellent beach access and the fire pit is a nice addition. The house itself appears to be newer and well maintained. WIFI was a big help as cell service is limited in the area, we appreciated that.

My family and I just spent a wonderful weekend in unit#186 to celebrate my moms 60th birthday. Check-in was easy, the house is clean, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The house was cozy and had lots of interesting nick-nacks that were the topic of many conversations. Check out was just a simple and customer service was great. We plan to come back again. Thanks for a great stay!

Great house! 2 families were easily able to share the space and have a great time. Can't wait to go back!

Had a couple of beautiful sunny days on the easy access beach. Cute house and pet friendly. Things that can definitely improve is the cleanliness (stained rugs, dust everywhere) instructions on how to check in and out easier to find prior to arriving, and use of the washer and dryer. Vent in bathroom missing, no bathroom upstairs. Do not recommend for large families with elderly, as there is two rooms are downstairs one is for kids. No TV in main area. “Dining” table is a large picnic table and benches, not easy for elderly to sit at. Also takes up half of the gathering area on main floor. Also recommend that the “information” book is no so redundant. Double pages just in garbage and recycling along with instructions. Recommend 1-2 pages clearer and then information on the area and things to do. There was none of that. Not worth what was paid. Will not stay there again.

The place was great. We were just a little disappointed that the dishwasher was broken and disposal not working. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay
