Cute and convenient!-We so enjoyed our stay in this cute home! Our little dog enjoyed the freedom of the fenced in yard and we all enjoyed the screened in porch:). We basically parked the car and walked the short distance to the beach, restaurants on Center Street, Bert's Market (for key lime pie!) and Chico Feo for a beer and live music:). We will definitely stay here again!

Second time back!-We love this house! It was our second time back and the location is awesome. So close to everything but still quiet at night. Perfect beach cottage. I especially appreciate little things like full kitchen supplies for cooking. This time we cooked at home a lot. Lots of pots, blender, grill, some spices, etc. The fully fenced in yard is the best for privacy and the dogs....no holes so I feel secure put leaving them outside. We’ll be back again I’m sure!

We enjoyed our stay in this house, however your cleaning crew could do a better job. It was apparent that the floors are not being mopped and since there is no carpet in this house that should be done after every stay. It was perfect for us and our dogs, loved the privacy fence too.

Great space, great location, perfect for pets-We had an awesome time here. Little quaint beach cottage, with a secure privacy fence all the way around the house, with plenty of room for the dogs to play. They provide all linens, which is nice, and also a "starter pack" with essentials like a couple of rolls of toilet paper and trash bags and a little dish soap and a few dishwasher pods. That was super helpful to have right away. The house is about two blocks from the beach, one block from Bert's (the only real grocery and deli), and one block from the main strip. But it was still quiet and we had no issues with noise. Beds were comfy, extra pillows provided. We'll definitely be returning!

My Ocean Rentals-Dealing with My Ocean Rentals was great! I don't think I will rent this particular cottage again. But will definitely recomend and use My Ocean Rentals for future reservations.

Great for a nice relaxing getaway!-Awesome location, especially for a relaxing time away. We loved being able to walk to the beach and to amazing restaurants options. Cozy home that had everything we needed. Will definitely be back!! Thank you!

A peaceful hide away, quiet and just close enough to everything.-This little house is a bit time worn, but immaculately clean and I sense the updates are ongoing! Beds and bedding were superb and the kitchen was well appointed with all necessary. The screen porch was a delight, the grill was clean & worked well. The best part? The fence! A “character” full privacy fence runs the perimeter and while we never left the dog outside alone for long, she did not get out - the gates did require some ingenious temporary upgrades for the duration of our stay. At any rate, the little house has fewer bells & whistles than a seaside condo but lots more charm (& is very clean).

Spacious place close to the beach and restaurants-This place was absolutely wonderful. It is older, but that adds to the charm and is pretty typical for Folly Beach. The place is enormous and has a huge yard. The screened in deck is great. It was perfect for our vacation. Cannot say enough!

This house is authentically perfect Folly! It's convenient location and walking access to both the beach and downtown is ideal; and, the privacy of the large fenced yard and screen porch perfect for enjoying the outdoors when not beachside. The kitchen is thoroughly modern and comfortable bedrooms with access to the screen porch. I have been visiting Folly annually for the last five years with my dog and this house is by far my favorite.

Great Weekend-We enjoyed our stay at Surf Cottage very much. It is close to the beach, downtown shops, and of course Berts. We really enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch while our dogs playing in the fenced in yard.
Looking forward to the next trip.

Perfect Location For Families and Dogs-Park your car and forget about driving. Location is ideal for walking to the beach, restaurants, grocery & shopping but far enough that the noise of the town is very minimal. Once you enter the gate(s) you're in a very private setting. Nice size corner lot with a high solid wooden fence surrounding the entire perimeter that keeps kids and dogs safe and secured. The entire grounds were covered in soft pine straw and shaded most of the day by mature trees. Portions of the fence are covered in honeysuckle adding to the privacy and smelled great in bloom. The house is nothing special but clean and has all the basics. The only potential issue for larger groups is the 2nd bathroom location is strangely part of the larger bedroom. The commode is out of view by a small wall and folding partition but the sink and tub are in the open. Also going through that bedroom is the most convenient path from the kitchen to the front porch and yard. It does have nice features like the laundry, fully equipped kitchen, full length screened in porch, outside hot and cold water shower and out of the way bike racks in the rear of house. Overall a good property for whatever length of stay at the beach. We would rent this again.
