Only a 20 Minute Drive from Historic Downtown Charleston this Summer Weekly Rental home "The Big Chill" is a Modern Construction home with ICE COLD Central Air and has 3 BIG bedrooms with 3 & 1/2 baths and sleeps 10, the Master is actually a suite with separate living space from the bed area & HUGE Master Bath, huge private back yard, outdoor bar,  lots of deck space, wrap around front porch, back screen porch, well appointed kitchen with barstool areas, 8 person dining space, plenty of off-street parking & this home is WALKING DISTANCE to everything Folly Beach has to offer. The beach is only a short walk away with a Public Beach Access nearbyt & there are multiple Golf Cart rental companies so you can easily get a cart for the week and drive right to the access in less than a minute which has special Golf Cart parking spots. Even though this home is not beach front I can't stress enough how nice it is to be able to walk to the Center Street area of Folly Beach where all the Shops, Restaurants, Fishing Pier, River Park & Bars are located. Let me just tell you, what a lot of people don't know about Folly is that it is a really long Island (7 miles long) and that all the fun stuff other than the beach are all at Center Street so a lot of times you might rent a Front Beach home that's awesome for the beach but you have to drive to get anywhere else on the Island and parking in Downtown Folly is CRAZY in the summer so being able to walk everywhere is really something to consider!

Thanks for booking with us and thanks for reading these rules, it is a bit long and some of the wording might seem harsh but it’s important info!!!  PLEASE know that we are just trying to make sure everyone is on the same page and crystal clear on the rules.  Our goal is to provide you with a superbly clean home, excellent customer service and true hospitality, we just ask that you follow these rules.  Once you have read them please email us back that you have.  Also if possible let us know how many cars and what type they are and what State the plate says just in case there are any parking space issues.

CHECK IN:   Check-In time is 5pm or any time after.  This property is set up for “Self Check In” so please watch the Check-In Video below so you can have an easy check in and that the Code for the lock will be the last 4 digits of your Phone Number on file with us in most instances.  PLEASE let us know immediately if there is anything wrong with the condition of the home. Our goal is to give you a 5 Star experience so don’t hesitate to let us know if something needs attention.  Please understand that our cleaning & maintenance crews have a limited window to do their job & parking is limited on the island, so unless you get a special waiver from us we cannot allow an early check in & unfortunately you cannot come and park early at the property, our apologies.

CHECK OUT: To prepare for Check Out please leave all towels in the showers or tub and DO NOT strip the beds, our cleaning crew will handle that.  Please wash any dishes and put them away, our crew will clean the kitchen but PLEASE don’t leave a big mess of dishes and please understand that additional charges may apply OR if you don’t mind paying a little extra our crew can handle it, just let us know. Check-out time is at 10:00 a.m. PLEASE text our main number when you leave and let us know the house name or address.  NO Late Check-out unless pre-approved.  Please note that all vehicles need to be gone by then as well, parking is limited on the island and our crews need the parking space.  In the event late check out approved additional charges may incur. A $50.00 fine will incur per every half an hour after 11:00 if the house is not fully vacant.  NOTE that stained towels and linens and excessive cleaning, especially in the kitchen (dirty dishes, food left in fridge, etc.) will have a minimum of $20 extra charge above the normal cleaning fee.

PETS:  This home is Pet “Friendly”, please help us keep it that way by following these simple rules.  

There is a non refundable $75 pet fee.  You have to check the box for pets (it is located in the section with number of guests).

NO PETS ON BEDS OR FURNITURE.  

We highly recommend you bring a crate for the pet and use whenever left unattended.  Although they might be well behaved in your home please remember they are now in an unfamiliar environment and that might cause them to damage something which you will be responsible for.  Your pet must be flea treated. Please pick up after your pet and make sure you have them on a leash at all times when they are outside. Please make sure you understand the rules for pets on the beach, they must be on a leash or you could be fined by the police.   Also they are not allowed on the beach during the day from Memorial Day through September 30th. They are allowed at that time on the beach anytime before 10am and after 6pm.  If your dog barks a lot when left alone please consider that there are local noise ordinances and the police will fine you.  

We love our pets too and often travel with them and are thankful for that privilege. We have learned that it's better for us to be completely up front with our expectations regarding pets.

Great stay and great location. It’s was super convenient to be able to walk to everything and not have to worry about parking.
