We have stayed at properties with Kiwanda Coastal Properties many years now! They are super easy to work with! We absolutely had no issues while there! If there ever is anything you need, they are very responsive! Just Ducky on the river is one of our favorites. The pantry is a huge walkin space! I love the kitchen and the pantry! I make a point to book in Pacific City so I can work with them. They are awesome!

This has been our 3rd time working with Kiwanda vacation rentals and 2nd time staying at “Just Ducky”- the rental team is knowledgeable, helpful and always checks in via text or email to make sure our stay is going well. “Just Ducky” is the perfect home for us-relaxing river view and sounds, fenced yard for our dogs and the home is very roomy and accommodating. Already looking at booking our Fall 2021 trip!

Our family just returned from a week at Pacific City. The only two things I can think of to make it better would be sunnier weather, and fewer covid related dining restrictions. These are beyound the scope of expectation for a rental property. That said, we managed to enjoy the rain in the glass enclosed deck overlooking the river, and when the sun peeked in, we watched the fishermen reel in fish. Our expectation was a clean, comfortable house with a yard, that was safe for dogs and kids, and close to town and the beach. Expectation meet.

This is a great house for the value. We love the big yard for our dog, the beautiful view of the river, and the fire pit outside. This was our second time renting this house, and we will stay here again the next time we want to stay in pacific city.

This house was fantastic! Plenty of room to spread out and relax. Lots of light and fresh air. Beautiful view of the river and wildlife. Close to the beach. The pictures online do not do it justice. We will definitely stay here again if we can.

The house was lovely...even bigger than I thought it would be. It was clean and well stocked. Close to town and within walking distance to the grocery store and a boat launch. We really enjoyed sitting on the enclosed back deck and watching the river when we weren't out on it. Our dog enjoyed the fully fenced yard. Across the street is a cow pasture so it is nice and quiet.The fridge has water and an icemaker, but there aren't condiments in the fridge so be sure to bring any you need. There are some dry goods though (coffee, flour, spices, etc.) We will be staying here again!

The carpets were FILTHY. The white leather recliner was broken. There were no instructions for the operation of the TV. The lamp by the master bed was broken. The master shower is a very slow drain. There was mold/dust on the floor of the shower that I wiped up. (I have photos of before and after). The glass shelving had not been dusted in some time, nor had the glass fixture over the kitchen table, or the boombox in the living room/dining area. There were crumbs on the dining table. The bed in the guest room had collapsed when we stayed there in June and we propped it up with a piece of 2x4 we found in the garage and it is still in that condition----- you sag to the center of the bed. The place works very well for us, but we were not happy with the condition of it this time.

My family and I loved this home! I would wake every morning, walk out into the sunroom and watch nature put on a show! One day I saw a young bald eagle lock talons with and adult then break away right in front of the house! On multiple occasions I had bald eagles swoop down in front of the house and grab a fish out of the water! There is a sea otter who calls the banks across the river home and he would at times come and play on the log in front of the home when the water was low, he would dive for fish and just have fun. Deer was a daily occurrence that would happen anytime it was low tide and vultures as well as herons also always seemed to be around. The house had a lot of room, nice washer and dryer. Everything was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The yard is huge and fenced in. It was the perfect place for my family to spend 9 days at the coast!

We absolutely loved this place! Office staff is awesome! On Thanksgiving day the faucet broke in the kitchen. I called the emergency line and someone came pretty quick to fix it. There were a few other minor things but it was all good! I like working with Kiwanda Coastsl Properties! THANK YOU!

Huge house with great view of the River off a fully enclosed deck. Watched the salmon frustrating the fishermen by leaping next to their boat. All manner of wildlife: deer, kingfisher, blue heron, merganser, etc. Very comfortable and we'll equipped. We'd use it again.

The inside was very spacious and clean. I would consider removing the stained carpet in the living roon. The outside needed to have bird droppings cleaned up by the front door and the cobwebs and mold cleaned off the windows in the back patio.
