The house was great and we love Watersound West. The only reason for 3 stars is that we did not have a working refrigerator in the kitchen. The first night we did not have a working fridge at all, but they did provide coolers and ice. The second day we got a fridge that was kept in the garage. We were grateful to have a working fridge but it was very inconvenient to try to cook Thanksgiving and other meals with a fridge in the garage. The broken fridge was also taken apart and draining water, and we were instructed to put it back together. When we did that it only worked for 2 hours and unfortunately broke again. Check out instructions were not given until after we checked out. We received a message stated "check out" but it contained check in instructions. I requested instructions but they did not arrive in my inbox until after we had checked out. Finally, we used the app to get some info about pool hours and never got a response.

The home was very nice and well furnished. It's a fairly long walk to the beach, so the 4 bikes were great. We had a minor issue with the wifi and RealJoy was quick to send someone over to resolve the issue. They were very attentive to or needs and periodically checked via text to see if we needed anything.

Amenities were as good as published. Location was perfect for our needs, furnishings are in good shape. Suggest they upgrade towels and linens.

Our family vacation was wonderful. The house was exactly as pictured. Everything was very clean. A complete list of what items are provided would be helpful as we had to make a trip to the store for items such as extra toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, garbage bags, etc. Also, it would be helpful to have instructions about the tankless water heater, how to work TV, surround sound, Blu Ray player, etc. The neighborhood was quiet, beautiful and very close to the pool and beach. We would definitely recommend this property and wouldn’t hesitate to book our family vacation at this location again!

Our family stayed in Dune our Thing beach house in Santa Rosa Beach. It was exactly like the pictures and was very clean and nice! I will definitely be using Real Joy in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at Dune our Thing! The property was perfect and it was quick stroll to the beach. We loved riding the bikes around the neighborhood and exploring the area. The home was clean and well furnished, which allowed everyone to spread out. Great property for those looking to explore the wonderful community of Seaside!

If the property had no renters the previous night, then the codes should've sent out earlier, like at noon! We were allowed to check in at 4pm, but we didn't get out codes until 4:15pm.

Our stay was wonderful; the house was very clean and well stocked for all of our needs. Loved the beach-style decorating and enjoyed using all the spaces of the house. Had a great time riding the included bikes. Would definitely stay at this home again, and highly recommend it to anyone vacationing in the 30-A area!

Our stay was not a good one with Real Joy. From arriving at the house to departing, we had several issues and inconveniences. On arrival we noticed how dirty the house was, sticky countertops, food - dried eggs on stove top, food on the refrigerator, floors filthy, sand in barhtub, sand on floor in kids room and black mold in the shower. We then discover that the only television in the common area - family room, did not work, nor did the ice maker. We called Real Joy maitenence and the sent a technician to repair the television but they did not. We spent the week unable to watch movies, sports, etc as a family unless we all (5 of us) sat on someone’s bed in their bedroom to watch something together - definitely inconvenient and no one wanted snacks eaten in their bed!!! The technician also was unable to fix the ice maker, we had to buy ice while staying in this home they was rented to us with the expectation that everything was in working condition. We were also promised compensation for our inconvenience but Real Joy has not complied. Lastly, on our last night, my daughter could not get out of her bedroom due to a faulty door lock mechanism. We called Real Joy maintenance and they came 45 minutes later, they were unable to get the door open and had to knock it down. This was traumatic for our daughter and Real Joy is fortunate that it was our 14 year old daughter and not our young son who would have been hysterical. Also, this would have been a safety hazard had something happened that required us to get out of the house. It was a problem mainly because it stole 2 hours from our evening that we had planned, going to see live music. We were unable to go. All in all, Teal Joy did not deliver on their contract. We cleaned the home and endured many issues. We do not recommend Real Joy. It should be called Real Dissapointment. They really should reimburse some of our money for not delivering on their advertised home amenities and service. Amy Carlino
