This was probably the worst experience I’ve ever had in renting a condo. I stayed at the Cara Del Sol #9 on 7/4 and 7/5. I've texted and emailed the Latitude 26 Group through the "contact us" feature on the website to get a partial refund for our stay given all the hassles we experienced. We arrived at the 3 pm checkin time on the 4th of July to find that the condo had not been cleaned from the previous guests. I called the local contact and he said there was a miscommunication and he called the cleaning crew. It was 6 pm before we were able to get into the unit. So there was no time to change and go to dinner before the fireworks. We were not provided a parking permit so we had a warning on our vehicle the next morning stating that our vehicle would be towed. Again I contacted the local contact person and Latitude 26 and was told that we could go to the local property management office, Furcrom Property Management, and they would give us the permit. We arrived there only to be spoken to very rudely and was told that they could only provide the parking permit to someone that works for Latitude 26. It was 1 pm when we finally received the parking permit. So rather than enjoying our beach vacation, we spent half the day dealing with problems. We also never received the WiFi password despite calls and texts to Latitude. We were told we’d be given a credit for all the trouble but it’s been 2 weeks and despite texts, calls, and emails, I can’t even get anyone to speak to me or reply to any of my very kind (truly) messages, let alone issue a credit. I’m not angry and have been much more cordial than a lot of people would be given all the hassles we experienced. I will never rent from Latitude again. And I frequent the island fairly often. Very, very disappointed.
