We really enjoyed our stay in St. Louis. JZ Vacation Rentals was very easy to communicate with. We appreciated the yard for the dogs. There were plenty of towels for 5 people. We washed once. They provided enough toilet paper, soap, laundry detergent, and paper towels for our 4 night stay. They even provided coffee. The kids loved the basement. For elderly, I would note that the basement stairs were pretty steep. Getting to the basement bathroom could be challenging for a larger person. There was a small gap between the sofa and wall to get to the bathroom. The pathway to get to the upstairs was also very tight. The doors on the bedrooms didn't allow for much privacy, but this was not an issue for us. We were also aware of this from pictures and previous reviews. I would definitely say that what you see is what you get for this rental.

The house was a lot of fun with its eclectic layout. We had plenty of room for the five adults. Plenty of dishes and cook ware to host a dinner party for all our children and grandchildren. The location was perfect for all we had planned to do. Being near the park was a big plus. The only thing I would recommend would be to clean up all the wet leaves in the backyard.

The location of this property is good as it is not too far from city sites to drive. However we were highly disappointed. Upon arrival we had to empty prior guests over loaded trash
We had 2 encounters with the neighbor. One was fine as we were parked on her driveway unaware of where to park. She was very kind. However another encounter with a neighbor left us un easy as she relentlessly rang door bell at nite and insisted our car was blocking her driveway. Which wasn’t true. Upon departure we were requested to start the laundry. I should think $150 cleaning fee would include such tasks. Overall not the best rental experience and certainly my not a clean property.

Pros: The house was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Decorated beautifully. Very Cozy/Quaint. The kitchen is large. Bed linens are comfy. The outside patio is very nice and there’s a small pet door. Neighbors are pleasant. Cons: The house was 80+ degrees when I arrived, took 3 hours to cool down. The rooms are small, 1st floor bathroom is way too small. There are no written instructions on how to use the TV and lights...takes a few minutes but not a big deal. No TV’s in the bedrooms. Master bedroom is not as cool
as the other rooms. Downstairs and attic areas are nice but the stairs are extremely steep. Downstairs stairway needs to be painted. No trash can in kitchen. Outside trash cans and debris block driveway. Overall nice stay, maybe more suited for families instead of business travelers.

This house was perfect for our family of four adults and one service dog. It was exactly as described in print, and in the online photos. The neighborhood is really quiet, we barely knew that there were people in the other houses on the street.
The entire rental process was fast and easy. We loved renting from JZ Vacation Rentals!

A couple of small things first: an apron would be fabulous and hand soap in the kitchen. The biggest issue is the bedroom on the top floor instead of in the basement near the bathroom. Not sure you can do anything about that. Otherwise it was nice!
